ACCESS TO MICROFILTRATION SYSTEM

c3.jpg

In 2015, DTW Systems designed and installed a system an update to a circuits facility which was growing and needed a massive expansion.   Unlike printed circuit boards, this facility etched circuits for heaters.

The acid waste stream is concentrated, as 99% of the copper and steel is removed to display the circuit.

The caustic stream was very complexed as organic material masks the substrate to prevent etching.

PRETREATMENT ACCESS

The discharge limit for copper is less than .02 mg/L.  Specialty chemicals were developed to meet the discharge requirements.  Coupled with a tightly controlled segregation plan, the system operates as designed
